Her music makes me feel like a foxy, sassy, roots woman and her style influences me everyday! Badu with the likes of Chaka Khan made the HUGE afro a trademark and I'm continuing this afrodesiastic image here in Mel-burn it up! lol Not to mention ma mamma who has worn hers for life, never swaying or relaxing or being anything but the naturally beautiful woman that she is!
