An expression of culture and tradition like I had never seen in Australia. The festival brought together all the tribes of Cape York Penninsula and from all ages, babies in nappies to elders in grass skirts.... they displayed their pride beautifully and with a power and energy that will stay with me forever. The spirits inside them came out and shot through their fingers, their eyes, their feet and their hearts.
